Liz is the director of Pulse Physiotherapy Brisbane and Pilates. She has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland and a Masters in Manual Therapy (Manipulative) from the University of Western Australia. She has undertaken Pilates certification and training with Stott Pilates, The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Insititute and The Body Control Association. 

Liz has a strong interest in rehabilitation and believes the integration of specific physiotherapy techniques with appropriately tailored pilates exercises is the key to injury prevention and treatment.

She has worked as a physiotherapist and pilates instructor in Australia and the U.K

She lectured for several years in the U.K. teaching rehabilitation pilates to physiotherapists.

Lori Forner

Lori Forner

Lori graduated from UQ in 2004 with a Masters of Physiotherapy studies and has worked in private practice clinics in both Canada and Australia. She is a certified Stott Pilates instructor in both mat and equipment, and has been instructing since 2002.

She loves combining her rehabilitation skills with the benefits of pilates, and educating patients about their injuries and how they can use pilates principles to facilitate the healing process. Her area of special interest is pelvic floor and women's health rehabilitation, especially during the pre and post- natal period.

Megan Bergman

Megan graduated in 1996 from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree.

She has worked in private practices both here in Australia and the UK. Megan has worked extensively with spinal and musculoskeletal conditions. This work has also included sports physiotherapy with national basketball teams and local, state and national hockey teams. She has also practiced in the area of ante natal and post natal care.

Megan has trained in both mat and equipment Pilates and also has a special interest in rehabilitation through exercise prescription and retraining. Meg instructs weekly pre and post-natal Pilates classes on a Friday.

Louise Westaway

Louise studied Physiotherapy at University of Queensland. She has a strong interest in sports and injury rehabilitation, and works closely with a wide range of sports from rugby through to performers involved in physical theatre.

Louise finds the combination of her assessment skills as a Physiotherapist, and Pilates exercise prescription a perfect combination to help her clients achieve improved function, strength and postural awareness.

Lisa Dodemont

Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland. She strives to enhance the long term wellbeing of her clients through the combination of her rehabilitation skills and appropriate Pilates techniques. Lisa has a strong interest in promoting injury prevention and fitness at any stage of life. 

She has been teaching Pregnancy Pilates, Yoga and Pregnancy Fitball classes since 2008.

Jannah Dowe

Jannah graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, 2011. 

Jannah has a special interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and enjoys combining her physiotherapy knowledge with the pilates method to facilitate the rehabilitation of injuries. Jannah also enjoys instructing small classes at Pulse and ensures each client receives individual attention and feedback.Jannah is currently completing her certification in the STOTT pilates method. Jannah is currently available for physiotherapy appointments and Pilates tuition on a Saturday morning at Pulse. 

Felicity Boosey

Felicity Boosey

Felicity has been involved in the fitness and rehabilitation field since graduating with a Degree in Sport Rehabilitation in the UK in 2000. Since qualifying as a Pilates Matwork Instructor in 2005 she has been instructing regular mat classes at various ability levels. 

Felicity moved to Australia in 2007 where she continues to pursue her career and expand her knowledge of Pilates. She became a Certified Practitioner of Pilates for Rehabilitation in 2008 through Polestar Pilates, becoming trained to instruct on specialised studio equipment including Reformer, Cadillac and Wunda Chair. Felicity is a member of Pilates Alliance Australasia and often attends further training courses to ensure her knowledge and teaching is current, varied and enjoyable. 

Keely Mancini

Keely Mancini

Certified Pilates Instructor

Keely has a long history in Pilates Instruction. She is a certified equipment and mat instructor with an incredible depth of knowledge and experience. Keely combines her knowledge of the human body with her expansive Pilates repertoire to co-ordinate classes which are progressive, creative and thoroughly effective.

Keely instructs both small group and individual pilates classes.

Carla is currently studying Psychology at QUT and has a particular interest in areas of health and counselling. She has a great passion for travel, foreign cultures and language and has recently returned from a year in South America fulfilling these pursuits.

Chloe Hollard

Chloe Hollard

Reception

Chloe works part time in front desk administration at Pulse. Chloe has a love of travel, film and meeting new and interesting people. Her experiences at Pulse fulfil the latter and encourage her to practise good health for the mind and body.

Nicole Hanssen

Nicole Hanssen

Reception

Nicole has been working in medical administration for many years. She has a keen interest in exercise rehabilitation which stems from her involvement in national level cycling. She is still a keen cyclist and also enjoys skiing, summer sports and travel.
