Liz Quinn
Manipulative Physiotherapist

Pulse Director
Liz is the director of Pulse Physiotherapy Brisbane and Pilates. She has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland and a Masters in Manipulative Therapy from the University of Western Australia. She has undertaken Pilates certification and training with Stott Pilates, The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Insititute, The Body Control Association and her own UK based institute Integrative Pilates.
Liz has a strong interest in rehabilitation and believes the integration of specific physiotherapy techniques with appropriately tailored pilates exercises is the key to injury prevention and treatment.
She has worked as a physiotherapist and pilates instructor in Australia and the U.K
She lectured for several years in the U.K. teaching rehabilitation pilates to physiotherapists.
Angie Ellam
Physiotherapist
Pilates Instructor
Angie has a Masters Physiotherapy Degree from the University of Queensland. She has a strong interest in injury rehabilitation and regularly combines Physiotherapy with Pilates to achieve quick and effective results. Her strong anatomical and biomechanical knowledge assists her diagnostic skills and treatment plans.
Angie enjoys instructing individual and small group Pilates classes and takes a variety of these classes throughout the week
Marnie Jobson
Remedial Massage Therapist
Certified Pilates Instructor
Marnie has an Advanced Diploma in Sports Therapy and trained at the Pilates Institute of Australia. Combining these qualifications with clinical personal training and massage therapy, her focus is on holistic healthcare with interests in muscular imbalances and sporting injuries.
She has previously instructed Pilates for 8 years in tropical north Queensland
Felicity Boosey
Certified Pilates Instructor
Felicity has been involved in the fitness and rehabilitation field since graduating with a Degree in Sport Rehabilitation in the UK in 2000. Since qualifying as a Pilates Matwork Instructor in 2005 she has been instructing regular mat classes at various ability levels.
Felicity moved to Australia in 2007 where she continues to pursue her career and expand her knowledge of Pilates. She became a Certified Practitioner of Pilates for Rehabilitation in 2008 through Polestar Pilates, becoming trained to instruct on specialised studio equipment including Reformer, Cadillac and Wunda Chair. Felicity is a member of Pilates Alliance Australasia and often attends further training courses to ensure her knowledge and teaching is current, varied and enjoyable.
Liz Urquhart
Exercise Physiologist
Certified Pilates Instructor
Liz is an accredited Exercise Physiologist with the Australian Association of Sports and Exercise Scientists.
She is a qualified Pilates Instructor and the principles of Pilates are the basis for all her exercise prescriptions.
Liz has also completed study in the UK in the areas of nutrition for weight management, healthy aging, physical activity for HIV and cardiac rehabilitation exercise with the British Assocation of Cardiac Rehabilitation.
She has a passion for helping people achieve their vision of optimal health through better quality and an increased quantity of movement, regardless of age and medical status.
Keely Mancini
Certified Pilates Instructor
Keely has a long history in Pilates Instruction. She is a certified equipment and mat instructor with an incredible depth of knowledge and experience. Keely combines her knowledge of the human body with her expansive Pilates repertoire to co-ordinate classes which are progressive, creative and thoroughly effective.
Keely instructs both small group and individual pilates classes.
Carmen Reinikka
Physiotherapist
Pilates Instructor
Carmen graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland. She integrates physiotherapy and pilates in rehabilitation and prevention of injuries. Carmen also takes individual and small group pilates classes during the week.
Carmen has a wide interest in sports and in particular triathlons.

Katherine Schindler
Pilates Instructor
Katherine has a Graduate Diploma in Human Movement Studies and a Masters degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland. She has a strong interest in rehabilitation and loves to help motivate and encourage each and every client to achieve the best result they can. Katherine enjoys integrating her love of rehabilitation with Pilates training.
Katherine’s interest in exercise began years ago when she was involved in competitive gymnastics. She currently enjoys long distance running and cycling.
Leah Bell Steele
Pilates Instructor
Leah is a qualified pilates instructor and is currently in her 3rd year studying to become a Physiotherapist at the University of Queensland. She has a keen interest in pilates and teaching and enjoys incorporating her newly gained physiotherapy knowledge into her classes. She is currently instructing mat classes at a variety of levels.
Sarah Nuttridge
Reception
Sarah has been in customer service for more than 10 years and is the operations person at Pulse.

Jannah Dowe
Reception
Jannah is currently undertaking studies at UQ in Physiotherapy.
She has a keen interest in pilates and is currently instructing both group and individual sessions at Pulse.
Carla Hopper
Reception
Carla is currently studying Psychology at QUT and has a particular interest in areas of health and counselling. She has a great passion for travel, foreign cultures and language and has recently returned from a year in South America fulfilling these pursuits.
